In this presentation tip video, I’m going to talk about some things you should never say when giving a presentation. Have you ever wanted to give your audience a reason for why your presentation might not be good? Well, this is a huge mistake!

It’s innocent

I know it’s not always easy to give a presentation, especially in another language, so we sometimes want to explain this to our audience by saying some common, innocent things, but they are not innocent. They’ll make you look really unprofessional, unprepared, unimpressive, and lacking confidence. Appearing this way can be very damaging, particularly if you are giving a business presentation.

So, the three things you should never say are:

  1. “I have a cold”
  2. “My dog died”
  3. “Please excuse my poor English”

Now check out the video to learn why each of the above three things are so important and should be avoided.
