In this week’s presentation tip, we’re going to look at actual scientific PPT presentation slides. What we’re going to do is review the slides, offer our opinions, then give tips on how to improve the slides. We think this will be really helpful when you’re preparing a presentation because you’ll know what not to do. (more…)
Liam and I attended a seminar about a very interesting business-related topic about a certain industry. We don’t want to mention the seminar specifically because this is not meant to be a criticism of the presenter. What we do want to do is talk about what some of the problems were with the presentation, the delivery of the presentation, and then how the presentation could have been improved. The purpose is to teach you how to avoid some big presentation mistakes… and avoid being the subject of one of our discussions 🙂 (more…)
In this video, you’re going to see the second half of the interview with Carl Pullein. In this video, I’m going to teach you how to give a self-introduction in 15 seconds or less to create a good impression. You can use this to introduce yourself before a presentation or when meeting people.
I don’t think you can ever stop improving how you create an impression with people. There’s no one best way to do give a good impression, so it’s always a good idea to learn more and try different things.
In this week’s presentation tip, you’ll learn how to give a good impression in less than 15 seconds. I say 15 seconds because people these days are so easily distracted and so busy that we have to get their attention in the shortest amount of time possible.
So check out this week’s video presentation tip: “15 Seconds To Success Or Failure”
I would also like to know how you like to introduce yourself or what you have seen that was impressive to you. Good luck and never stop learning!
